Trying to get the family motivated on a rainy saturday is like searching for a leader - it takes time and effort and, in the end, you hope you make it.
Heading out with 11 of my wife's family for a weekend at the shore. Good food, good coversation and good laughs are sure to follow.
BTW - trying to update this blog through my Blackberry. If this works I am even a bigger fan of technology!!!

We have eaten all of the good food, drunk both the good and the bad wine, and spread out to follow our individual interests as follows:-
1/. The guest of honor from England and several other old folks are fast asleep (It is 7pm). 2/.The younger folks are pursuing very strenuous activities like discussing (arguing inanely) or discussing philosophy or statistics about which they know absolutely nothing.
3/. The dog is supremely happy with the whole affair and is very quietly cleaning up the house (Of all of the accidentally dropped or spilt food or wine.
4/. I think I hear something vaguely ressembling a cat sqalling which I think is my oldest son singing.
5/. As one of the patriarchs of the family I am as drunk as a skunk and will be banished from the family for these comments.
